Dried mushrooms

For a long time drying was the most widely used method for conserving and distributing mushrooms. This method has some undoubted advantages: it is safe, simple, reliable, SUSTAINABLE and can also be carried out directly (through direct exposure to the sun) by the pickers that live and work in areas that are isolated and uncontaminated but perhaps not accessible every day for picking.
On the flipside, dried mushrooms are extremely delicate and often tend to crumble into pieces if processed and packaged without the necessary precautions. As such, ideally the product should always be carefully selected and marketed to consumers in a way that is consistent with the level of integrity of the cuts contained (or, conversely, the level of “crumbliness”).
Therefore, to guarantee maximum respect for such a precious and delicate product and fulfil our duty to our customers, all operations in our labs are carried out exclusively by hand by expert staff that know how to handle the product with the requisite care and attention.
At the same time the transparent trays used to package the products (always very aesthetically pleasing) allow our customers to evaluate and appreciate the size, integrity and quality of the mushrooms they contain with their own eyes.
